Risk Preventative Map Survey
This survey was developed by LiveMove students at the University of Oregon to collect spatial data and personal testimony on crashes or near-misses (a.k.a. close calls) experienced by non-drivers in the Eugene area. The personal testimony provides an opportunity for respondents to give feedback on their overall transportation experience in Eugene and allows LiveMove to further engage with the community. The survey questions are also designed to test how many incidents are not reported to the Eugene Police Department (EPD) to attempt to prove the existence of a data collection gap driven by researcher reliance on sources inequitably skewed to highlight car drivers.
